Ben Ramage
Facilities & Campus Operations Leader
About
I am a facilities and campus operations leader with more than 10 years of experience supporting educational and multi-site environments through operational leadership, team development, and community partnership. My work focuses on creating safe, functional, and welcoming spaces where students, staff, and organizations can do their best work.
Throughout my career, I have supported facilities operations ranging from preventive maintenance systems and vendor coordination to event logistics, safety compliance, and long-term facilities planning. I believe strong operations are built through visibility, communication, trust, and thoughtful stewardship of both people and resources.
Earlier in my career, I spent more than a decade supporting youth leadership development through the Boys & Girls Club, an experience that continues to shape how I approach mentorship, collaboration, and team culture today. I am also actively involved with the Seattle chapter of IFMA (International Facility Management Association) and value continued professional growth and connection within the facilities community.

Leadership Philosophy
VISIBLE LEADERSHIP
I believe strong facilities leadership starts with presence — being visible, approachable, and engaged in the day-to-day life of a campus or organization. Building trust requires communication, consistency, and a willingness to understand both the work and the people behind it.
PEOPLE-CENTERED OPERATIONS
Facilities work is ultimately about people. Safe, functional, and welcoming environments allow students, staff, teams, and communities to focus on the work that matters most. I approach operations with the understanding that every system, space, and process exists to support people first.
SYSTEMS & STEWARDSHIP
I value proactive planning, clear systems, and thoughtful stewardship of resources. Strong operations are built through preventive thinking, accountability, collaboration, and balancing immediate operational needs with long-term organizational health.
Testimonials
“I have had the great pleasure to work with Ben on multiple projects. Some of those events were school wide and utilized the entire campus which is over 30 acres of space. It became very clear to our department that if we wanted to get support to put on a large event, that we go to Ben! He engaged with us with genuine courtesy and professionalism at all times, was highly reliable, and the outcome was excellence! I would welcome any opportunity to work with him again!”
“Ben is a breeze to work with, and can be relied upon to process and execute complex tasks. In my time working with him, I could trust that when we had detail-oriented discussions, he had the diligence to follow through on those details. Trust like that is hard earned.”
“I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Ben in his role as Assistant Director of Facilities. While his technical skills and ability to manage the full breadth of campus operations are exceptional, what stands out most is his unwavering responsiveness, calm presence, and commitment to the community. Ben leads with humility, models initiative, and embodies the mission-aligned leadership that independent schools value—someone who strengthens systems, mentors staff, and invests deeply in a school’s culture of care.”
“I had the pleasure of working with Ben during my time as Director of Teaching and Learning at The Overlake School. As Assistant Director of Facilities, he consistently distinguished himself through his responsiveness, professionalism, expertise, and genuine kindness. Beyond excelling in his formal responsibilities, he was deeply invested in the life of the school community by mentoring new colleagues, advising student organizations, volunteering to help with campus events, and fostering meaningful connections with faculty, staff, and students. His commitment to service and community made him an invaluable colleague and a trusted leader whose impact extended far beyond facilities management.”
